My name is Michelle Rivas. I am an Accounting Technician. My experience in the accounting field consists of thirteen years as an Accounting Clerk in an organization that consisted of several subsidiaries. In my fourteenth year I earned a Technician Level A certificate and became an Accounting Technician. Three years later I left that organization and became the Bursa of a private school that, at that time, only consisted of an elementary school. Later a high school was added, and I remained there for thirteen years.
When the pandemic invaded Belize and most businesses decide to downsize, I decide to put my accounting experience to good use. I worked at establishing myself as an entrepreneur and marketed my service as an Accounting Technician.

By streamlining workflows, automating tasks, as much as possible, leveraging technology where possible, I aim to improve the financial operations and decision-making. By working together with them, this will ensure that accounting for the finances of their business is as accurate as possible.
